Jason started his career as a Maintenance Engineer with Dow Chemical. In 2019, he took a promotion to lead Eckart America’s Maintenance and Engineering department. In that short time, Jason has been exposed to a number of different engineering disciplines (PLCs, vacuum pumps, networking, distillation, instrumentation, motors, valves, etc.). In 2020, Jason led the redesign and upgrade of Eckart’s process network, something not part of his background, but Jason figured it out. In 2021, Jason redesigned a part of the plant’s layout to improve efficiency and material work flow. This was also necessary to make room of a new production line key for the scale up and launch of a new product series. In that process Jason served as the project leader, lead engineer and installation manager. The $1.6 million project was implemented on time and on budget. As a manager, Jason is known as a competent and reliable leader. He fosters and environment of mutual respect for his direct reports, coworkers and contractors.
