Pure Acai is the Best Acai
Pure Acai is the best form of acai. Most products available in health food stores and online are not "pure acai" products. How do you know if you are buying pure acai? The only way is to read the ingredients label carefully. Rule #1 is if you see the ingredients indicated as a proprietary blend or something to that effect, it is certain that the product does not contain pure acai berries. So read the labels and see exactly what the product contains.
Pure acai is usually found in a capsule or jar and will contain freeze-dried acai berries in powder form, and nothing else. A good example of a pure acai product is our favorite product called Perfect Acai. You can see the ingredients label for that product on this website. Just click here Perfect Acai ingredients.
It is unfortunate to see the true ingredients that are contained in many of the products which are offered to consumers as being pure products. By reading labels, consumers can get a whole new perspective. Many health conscious consumers feel if a list of ingredients in a product is long, or if the ingredients contain usual names that most people can't pronounce, it is probably a good idea to stay away from that product. Try it some time in your local grocery store.
Try it also when shopping online. Notice that most acai product websites do not display an ingredients label. And when they do, notice that many of them contain many different ingredients. Some of the most popularly advertised acai products contain tons of caffeine and other ingredients too. So be advised to read the ingredients label. And by the way, acai berries in frozen form are often pure, but since that form is not convenient to use everyday for most people, we are primarily discussing capsules. But once again, if shopping for frozen products it is still important to read the labels. And, acai juice products are usually low on our list because they are most always blends of acai and other fruits. That makes these products far from being pure acai, since they contain so many additional ingredients. Plus, acai juices usually just don't provide the best bang for your buck.
Pure acai should contain nothing more than organic freeze-dried acai powder. Also, read below for information on endocarp, which is the seed, or pit, from the fruit. There is little or no nutritional value in the pit and the pit makes up 90% of the fruit. None of the products featured on the website contain pit, or seed. We don't consider products that contain endocarp (or seed or pit) to be pure acai either.
