Beamex has expanded its PG pump line with the Beamex ePG, an electrical pressure pump for industrial pressure calibration. The Beamex ePG supports the company’s focus on improving calibration methods.

The Beamex ePG is a durable, portable battery-operated pressure pump that allows for efficient pressure generation from near vacuum up to 20 bar (300 psi). With a field-replaceable, high-capacity battery pack, it supports multiple pressure calibrations per charge.
The Beamex ePG is compatible with existing pressure calibrators, eliminating the need for a new device. It features user-friendly coarse and fine adjustment buttons for precise pressure control. The ePG pump also supports user-performed maintenance for added convenience.
“Calibrations in the process industry are often performed in the field, and typically a manual hand pump is used for pressure generation. But a manual hand pump is laborious to use, especially if you need to do several calibrations or pump a higher pressure. Based on requests from our customers for easier pressure calibrations, we developed a new technology that enabled the creation of the Beamex ePG.” says Antti Mäkynen, product manager at Beamex.
When used with the Beamex MC6 family of calibrators, the Beamex ePG allows for automated pressure calibration, with the MC6 calibrator controlling the ePG.
